Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the ForgetID service. Creating an account accepts these terms; authority to act for the customer is granted only through the separate Limited Authorization.

Eligibility and account responsibility

The account holder must provide accurate information, protect login credentials, and use the service only for their own information unless ForgetID has approved a separate representative workflow. Restricted-content services require the customer to be at least 18.

Service scope

ForgetID may search supported public sources, organize likely exposures, prepare or transmit supported requests, track responses, and verify outcomes according to the selected plan and active authorization. Coverage varies by source, jurisdiction, recipient policy, and available evidence.

No guaranteed removal

ForgetID does not control third-party systems and cannot guarantee acceptance, deletion, de-indexing, response timing, permanent removal, or prevention of republication. Some recipients require direct customer verification or customer-controlled forms.

Subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds

Current pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation timing, and any refund rules shown at checkout or in the order confirmation are incorporated into these terms. Canceling a subscription and revoking authorization are separate actions unless the interface expressly states otherwise.

Acceptable use

Customers may not investigate another person without authority, submit false information, conceal fraud, interfere with lawful records, evade legal obligations, bypass access controls, scrape restricted systems, upload unlawful material, or use ForgetID to harass a person or organization.

Customer cooperation

The customer must respond when a recipient requires identity verification, account login, a sworn statement, a platform-controlled form, or other action that ForgetID cannot lawfully or technically complete.

Suspension and termination

ForgetID may suspend activity to investigate abuse, protect security, satisfy legal obligations, resolve billing failure, or address inaccurate authority. Account closure does not require ForgetID to erase transaction, security, audit, or previously transmitted request records when retention is reasonably necessary.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided subject to the limitations permitted by applicable law. ForgetID is not responsible for third-party decisions, outages, policy changes, republication, or actions outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited. The governing-law and dispute terms shown in the customer’s order confirmation apply to the extent permitted by law.
